Football is one of the popular the games among the games the other games here on earth. But it also has its side effect especially on the players playing the game. It contains somber scenes at times. Here is some of the players who die while on the pitch playing:
VICTOR OMOGBEHIN
On August 18th, 2010, the Nigerian player, die during a league encounter. From source, he dies at the age of 22. He played in the Isthmian Football League game from IIFORD FC against LOWESTOFT T own FC.
MOISE BROU APANGA
This Ivory Coast football defender, played for FC 105 LIBREVILLE in Gabon. He passed away on April 26th, 2017, after a suffering a heart attack during a training session with his club.
DAVID FARAMOLA ONIYA
This Nigerian footballer was a member of the T-Team Club in the Malaysia Premier League.
He passed away after falling on the field in Malaysia during a match between his club and KELANTAN on the the day of June 13, 2015.
JOSE ANTONIO GALLARDO
This keeper experiences a head injury in a match which was played against Celta Vigo vs Malaga.
He made a full recovery but the bang left him in coma for 17 days. Later that month, he passed out on January 8th, 1988.
PETER BIAKSANGZUALA
On October 19, 2014, a 23-year-old midfielder for the Indian Club Bethlehem Vengthalang lost his life after attempting a backflip celebrating a goal.
MARC-VIVIEN FOE
Marc-Vivien dies after collapsing during his team's semi-final against Colombia at 2003 FIFA Confederation Cup. Marc-Vivien was from Cameroon and passed away on June 26, 2003.
MARCIO DOS SANTOS
October 28th, 2002, Marcio passed out in the club's hotel after suffering a heart attack. Before his death that day, Marcio scored the wining goal for his club.
ALLEN PANIC
Allen had a heart attack while playing a friendly match against ISTRA in Maruzni. Although Allen had encountered a heart attack while playing a match before but doctors decided to allow him to keep playing. This incident happened on 22, June 2013.
EMMANUEL OGOLI
This Nigerian defender passed away in the hospital after collapsing on the field during for Ocean Boys on December 12, 2010. He also played for Bayelsa United and his national team Super Eagles-Nigeria before he passed away.
CHEICK TIOTE
Cheick played as a defensive midfielder in Ivory Coast. He died on 5th, June 2017, during a training session with his new club in Beijing, China, after suffering probable cardiac arrest.
